PHOENIX -- Brewers players get one scheduled day off during spring training. It came on Tuesday, but pitcher Ben Sheets didn't exactly have a chance to relax.

Sheets' wife, Julie, delivered the couple's second son. The baby's name -- Miller Bennett Sheets -- was an interesting choice for a guy who works at Miller Park.

"He was 6 lbs., 12 oz.," Sheets said Wednesday, still wearing his hospital wristband. "I figured people would like that. A 12-oz. Miller."

Sheets' choice was a topic of conversation in the clubhouse. "He should have named it 'Moeller,'" general manager Doug Melvin said, referring to former Brewers catcher Chad Moeller. "It was Moeller who caught most of Ben's games."

Sheets' oldest son, Seaver, 4, was named after Hall of Fame pitcher Tom Seaver. Ben Sheets said he considered naming his second son Palmer, after former Orioles great Jim Palmer. Julie Sheets didn't think that was a good idea, though.

Though skies are cloudy and there is a threat of rain, the Brewers are slated to play Colorado this afternoon at 3 p.m. (Milwaukee time). Here is the Brewers' scheduled starting lineup:

1. Weeks 2B

2. Hardy  SS

3. Fielder  1B

4. Hall CF

5. Estrada C

6. Hart RF

7. Gross LF

8. Graffanino 3B

9. Villanueva RHP
