The American Heart Association’s Go Red For Women Movement Launched in 2004, Go Red For Women has impacted women’s health by funding groundbreaking research, pioneering life-saving education and supporting courageous advocacy. Even though we have made tremendous progress, the fight is not over. Heart disease is the #1 cause of death for women. The Red Dress Dash | Thursday, Oct. 6 Registration: 5:00pm | Dash: 5:45pm | Post Dash Party: 6-7:00pm The Red Dress Dash brings together men and women by “Dashing” the Myths of Heart Disease and Stroke. Dashers are asked to wear red and help the American Heart Association raise awareness of the greatest health threat American women face. Dash Festivities: Best Dress Competition Gentleman, put on your red dress and strut your stuff with our best dressed competition Most Spirited Squad- ladies gather your friends and compete for the most festive outfits! Dashing Fido- this year, the dogs can get in the action! Dress up your pooch and enter the competition Fuel Your Dash Stop by the WI Beef Council’s Fueling Tent, nine fresh beef cuts are certified to display the coveted Heart-Check mark, signifying they meet the American Heart Association's® criteria for heart-healthy foods as part of an overall healthy dietary pattern Divas Closet Don’t have a red dress?
