Tiny Steps, Big Hearts 2 Mile Walk

Come out to Hart Park in Wauwatosa on Saturday June 11 for the second annual Tiny Steps, Big Hearts 2 Mile Walk benefiting New Beginnings - A Home for Mothers! New Beginnings helps single mothers learn Christ-centered parenting skills and provides training to lift them out of poverty and into a self-sufficient life. This family-friendly walk is intended to raise awareness and support for this unique southeastern Wisconsin ministry. The event will also include a photo booth, face painting, balloon animals, and coloring for the kids.

Walk to End Lupus Now (TM) - Milwaukee celebrates 15 years!!

Walk to End Lupus Now™-Milwaukee celebrates 15 years! We are taking steps to raise awareness and funds for our fight against lupus. This is the Wisconsin Chapter’s 2016 flagship event which goes a long way in enabling us to continue our vision as we strive to advance the science and medicine of lupus. Our ultimate goal is to find a cure and improve the quality of life for all people affected by lupus. Walk Date: Sunday, June 12, 2016 Schedule: • Registration begins at 10:30 AM • Walk begins at 12:00 PM Location: Hart Park, 7300 W Chestnut St, Wauwatosa, WI 53213 Pre-registration: • Runs through Midnight on Tuesday, June 7, 2016 • Cost: Adults $25 & Children (12 & under): $15 Day-of registration: • Cost: Adults $30 & Children (12 & under): $17 • Inside the Muellner Building at the Tosa Room starting at 10:30 AM (We highly recommend coming early) The walk begins and ends in Hart Park with a 1 or 3 mile walk on the Oak Leaf Trail heading west along the Menomonee River Parkway. Following the walk is a snack and entertainment by CLOSE ENUF. The walk offers a chance for lupus patients, their families and friends to come together to raise awareness and funds to fight lupus. Volunteers needed - please call or visit our website for an application.

Free family friendly outdoor concert held at the Rotary Performance Pavilion at Hart Park, in Wauwatosa. Music starts at 6pm. Enjoy area food and beverage vendors at the concert! Presented by Froedtert & the Medical College. Check out our online 2016 schedule for more details!

HartFest

HartFest was started to engage the Wauwatosa community in the spirit of giving to organizations that greatly impact the area. Annually, HartFest creates a fun and family friendly event which draws nearly 10,000 attendees. The HartFest weekend makes the Village of Wauwatosa come alive with events such as a Baggo Tournament, Kids Area, Wauwatosa School of Music performance, Live Entertainment, Skateboard Demonstrations, and a Half Marathon!
