This season the MKE Oktoberfest continues its celebration marking the official end to the Oktoberfest season. The Marcus Center Grounds and Pere Marquette Park will transform downtown Milwaukee into a traditional Bavarian Oktoberfest celebration activating both sides of the Milwaukee River with beer gardens, music and food. The event kicks off on Thursday, September 29 at Pere Marquette Park, the celebration continues on both sides of the river, on Marcus Center For The Performing Arts Grounds and Pere Marquette Park on September 30th - October 2nd. As Milwaukee's most authentic downtown Oktoberfest, admission to this event is free and open to the public with German food, beer, and music along the beautiful riverwalk. Milwaukee Holiday Lights Festival Kick-Off Extravaganza
This ceremonial switch-flipping comes packed with live music, holiday entertainment, a visit from Santa and a dynamic fireworks show. Free hot cocoa, coffee and cookies will keep guests toasty all night. After the unveiling of downtown’s park and street-level décor, attendees can hop aboard the Jingle Bus, free on kick-off night, to take in the panorama.
