Home to many of Milwaukee's largest festivals, such as Summerfest and ethnic festivals that run every weekend throughout the summer.

The Henry Maier Festival Park is located in downtown Milwaukee along the Lake Michigan shoreline.

Festa Italiana

Purchase your ticket to Italian entertainment, food, culture and fun July 17-19, 2015 on Milwaukee’s lakefront! New in 2015 enjoy Flag-Throwers of the Florentine – Direct from Italy and FREE carnival rides for all to enjoy. Welcome direct from Italy Dove c'è Musica’s Tribute to Eros Ramazzotti, celebrate Frank Sinatra’s 100th Birthday with award-winning Henry Prego Sings Frank Sinatra. Enjoy the return of Festa favorites: The Bronx Wanderers, Louis Prima Jr. and the Witnesses, Tony Spavone and The Russo Brothers. Sing along to The World’s #1 Tribute to the Bee Gees – Stayin’ Alive. Also enjoy Milwaukee’s own Florentine Opera and Festa’s “Jazz in the Courtyard” series featuring a perfect blend of jazz and blues each evening!

Eat and sip your way through Italy! Classic Italian fare and wine tastings will return, along with the popular Cucina Showcase featuring celebrity chef Rossella Rago. Don’t miss the Chef’s Choice Recipe Contest in its second year, along with the Kids Pizza Making Contest and annual Cannoli Eating Contest. New in 2015 will be a Cannoli Championship Showdown between Festa’s two cannoli-eating stars to face off in a stomach-to-stomach battle!

Enjoy your ticket to fun and take a romantic gondola ride, play a game of bocce ball, watch the Copa Festa Italiana Futsal tournament, partake in Italian Idol and don’t miss the best Bartolotta Italian-style fireworks in the sky every evening! Father Domenic Roscioli of Kenosha, Wisconsin, will lead this year’s traditional Sunday Mass in the Marcus Ampitheater beginning at 11 a.m. Gates open at 10:15 a.m. and donations to Hunger Task Force are strongly encouraged. The Mass is followed by a procession of societies and patron saints, concluded with a benediction.

Visit the Italian Cinema Tent, see who you know at the Vintage Photo Display and visit the Pompeii Church Exhibit which was built by Milwaukee’s immigrant Italian’s as a tribute to the Our Lady of Pompeii Catholic Church. New this year visit the Annex Sports Auction benefiting the Vince Lombardi Cancer Foundation. Wheels and Heels: Rush on Festa

The National Spinal Cord Injury Association’s S.E. Wisconsin Chapter (NSCIA/SWC) first created the Wheels & Heels: Rush on Festa race in 1987 as a means of raising public awareness and generating money for research in a continuing effort to find a cure for paralysis. All participants will receive a T-Shirt and free admission to Festa Italiana. This course can be run, wheeled or walked! Walkers can take the course at their own pace and are not required to walk the entire length. Registered runners will recieve additional prizes as listed below. Register at: wheelsandheels.org
