Good times are brewing once again this summer in Grafton, as Beer on the Bridge will tap another tasty afternoon of brews this summer on Saturday, June 8.

Hosted once again by local hidden gem The 024 Taproom, Beer on the Bridge will serve up plenty of summer vibes, sounds and suds – all found on the scenic Bridge Street bridge passing over the Milwaukee River next to the Grafton craft brew hub at 1300 14th Ave. The sixth annual brew-apalooza will start pouring at noon and run through 4 p.m.

Last year's Beer on the Bridge event featured more than 150 beers, ciders and beyond, provided by more than 50 breweries – with this summer's edition aiming to match or exceed those numbers. To help soak up all the drinks, the 2024 beer bonanza will also feature food courtesy of That Taco Guy food truck, while The Tom Mahan Band will provide the soundtrack to the hoppy afternoon.

Tickets for Beer on the Bridge are expected to go on sale in April, both in person at The 024 Taproom as well as online at the Grafton Area Chamber of Commerce's website. And stay tuned to the taproom's social media for more updates and announcements.

And for more updates both on summer festivals and Brew City beer, stay tuned to OnMilwaukee!

As much as it is a gigantic cliché to say that one has always had a passion for film, Matt Mueller has always had a passion for film. Whether it was bringing in the latest movie reviews for his first grade show-and-tell or writing film reviews for the St. Norbert College Times as a high school student, Matt is way too obsessed with movies for his own good.

When he's not writing about the latest blockbuster or talking much too glowingly about "Piranha 3D," Matt can probably be found watching literally any sport (minus cricket) or working at - get this - a local movie theater. Or watching a movie. Yeah, he's probably watching a movie.
