Season's eatings! October may be over, but Dining Month on OnMilwaukee, presented by the restaurants of Potawatomi Hotel & Casino, is still cooking, dishing out your winning picks in this year's Best of Dining poll. Congratulations to all of the winners, and happy eating for all those who voted!

Red Light Ramen

Milwaukee's best late night secret doesn't appear to be much of a secret anymore, as Red Light Ramen – Chef Justin Carlisle's late night pop-up ramen shop in his Ardent restaurant location at 1751 N. Farwell Ave. – beat out past winners and local late night legends Oakland Gyros and Real Chili. It wasn't an easy task, however, as merely one vote separated Red Light Ramen from the second place Oakland Gyros.

Quietly over the past two years – or maybe not so quietly, especially considering the loud music of choice – Red Light Ramen has grown into a late night food phenomenon, scoring fans in Milwaukee and Chicago by dishing up bowls of ramen. There's only one type on the menu, but when it's cooked up as rich and satisfying as Carlisle and company do, one is all you need.

Red Light Ramen is exclusively open on Fridays and Saturdays from 11:30 p.m. until about 1 a.m. While it may seem like a chore to stand in line that late at night for a bowl of ramen, this meal in a bowl is food worth losing some sleep over.

Runners up:
2. Oakland Gyros
3. Ian's Pizza
4. The Vanguard
5. Real Chili
