Season's eatings! October may be over, but Dining Month on OnMilwaukee, presented by the restaurants of Potawatomi Hotel & Casino, is still cooking, dishing out your winning picks in this year's Best of Dining poll. Congratulations to all of the winners, and happy eating for all those who voted!

The Chancery

As a 5-year-old living large on the East Side, I can distinctly remember going to The Chancery on Downer Avenue with my family and, every time, gleefully ordering the mini corn dogs with waffle fries off the kids menu. Now, 22 years later, Milwaukee families are still going to The Chancery – though the Downer Ave. location closed in 2007 – and apparently still loving it.

The Chancery, a local chain serving pub fare at four southeastern Wisconsin locations, was chosen as Milwaukee's best family-friendly restaurant. The popular breakfast-and-burger burger spot, which narrowly edged out Pizza Man and Cafe Hollander in the voting (there must be something particularly familial about Downer Avenue and Wauwatosa), has added more eclectic items like jambalaya and fajitas to its selection of staple sandwiches. Still, you can't beat those mini corn dogs.

Runners up:

2. Pizza Man
3. Cafe Hollander
4. Cranky Al's
5. AJ Bombers
