Let's get down to business and get inside the heads of Marvin Pratt and Tom Barrett. Here are 10 quick questions with the candidates. Admit it, you've been wondering, too: boxers or briefs?

1. What is your favorite Milwaukee restaurant?

Marvin Pratt: Ja 'Stacy and The Soup House.
Tom Barrett: I'm running for mayor of Milwaukee. I love all of them.

2. What's the last concert you saw?

Barrett: Paul Simon.
Pratt: Anita Baker on January 3 at The Riverside Theatre.

3. What CDs are in your car right now?

Pratt: Donnie Hathaway, although I don't get to drive much these days.
Barrett: Lots of them, specifically Rolling Stones "Greatest Hits."

4. You need a new tie for this weekend, where do you go to buy one?

Barrett: Boston Store at the Shops of Grand Avenue.
Pratt: Sophisticated Man (322 E. Wisconsin Ave.) or Mark Pasch, Ltd.

5. If you could have a beer with one person, who would it be and why?

Pratt: Muhammad Ali.
Barrett: My brother John, because I can make him pick up the tab.

6. Would you support a one-day "Parking Amnesty Day" in downtown: a day where all meters and city lots are free?

Barrett: Show me the money ... before I commit to this I would need to know the cost. I would love to explore ways of doing this and providing incentives to come downtown, especially on a prime retail shopping days like the day after Thanksgiving.
Pratt: Yes.

7. Boxers or briefs?

Pratt: Briefs.
Barrett: Yes, always.

8. Favorite TV show?

Barrett: Seinfeld.
Pratt: 60 Minutes, but I don't watch much TV.

9. Coke or Pepsi?

Pratt: Pepsi.
Barrett: Diet Coke.

10. Favorite place for coffee in Milwaukee?

Barrett: I don't drink coffee, but Highland Park Pies and Café on Martin Drive is a favorite spot to chat and catch up in my neighborhood.
Pratt: Bean Head Café on Martin Luther King, Jr. Drive.
