The Alliance Francaise de Milwaukee will celebrate the annual uncorking of the Georges Duboeuf Beaujolais Nouveau red wine as they and the InterContinental Hotel host La Fête du Beaujolais Nouveau Thursday, Nov. 17.

This yearly event centers around this special wine, which French law requires remain corked until the third Thursday in November. In honor of its official opening day, the Alliance Francaise will throw a party complete with small bites, body artists, live art installations and of course, wine tastings.

Radio Milwaukee DJ Marcus Doucette will host the event.

Admission is $35 for Alliance Francaise members and $45 for non-members, with all proceeds benefiting Alliance Francaise's children's programs.

Tickets can purchased by emailing Emily Dell at the Alliance Francaise de Milwaukee at emilyd@afmilwaukee.org or calling (414) 964-3855.
