The Milwaukee Kickers Soccer Club hosts a World Cup Viewing Party for all soccer fans at Uihlein Soccer Park on Good Hope Road in Milwaukee on Sunday, June 22 at 4 p.m.

"The Milwaukee Kickers believes that soccer is a unifying, community-building game changer and wants to share the worldwide excitement on a local level with others as passionate about the sport as we are," said Alvaro Garcia-Velez, the executive director of the club.

"Regardless of which soccer club guests may or may not be a member of, we will all be cheering for the same team that day."

The indoor event will showcase the U.S. Men’s National Team battle against Portugal on a big screen on one of the three indoor soccer fields. Another field will feature inflatables for children and another will be open for youth soccer matches.

There will be raffle prize drawings during the free family-friendly event and guests are encouraged to bring their cameras because Fuleco, the official 2014 World Cup mascot, will be present to take photos with World Cup fans.

Guests who don’t want to sit directly on the field to view the game should bring a lawn chair, and a variety of food and beverage options will be available for purchase from the park’s concession stand (no carry-ins will be permitted). There is no registration required for the free event and all are welcome.

JUMP IN: Animal Planet dips into new territory with "The Pool Master," hosted by British swimming-pool designer Anthony Archer-Wills.

Archer-Willis and his two right-hand men, lead contractor Dave Duensing and excavator Ed Kading, envision extraordinary swimming holes that look nature made. In each episode, they determine just how to design and execute a pool that reflects the personalities of the clients who will swim in it. And no matter where they build – on a rocky slope, in an arid desert or on the edge of a cliff – the trio creates a spectacular, lush oasis where nothing existed before.

The first episode is set for 8 p.m. on Friday, June 20.

"I’ve always been passionate about designing pools that look as if they are formed by the hand of nature," Archer-Willis said. "These types of natural swimming pools support the environment, provide homes to beds of aquatic plants and foster elements of mystery, which, therefore, enhance the whole swimming experience."

HOME ENTERTAINMENT: ABC and Disney announced last week that the DVD and Blu-ray for the first season of "Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." will be released on Sept. 9.

What set this show apart, is that the story lines were affected by what took place in the string of Marvel movie releases – mainly "Thor 2: The Dark World" and "Captain America 2: The Winter Soldier."

The home entertainment offering will include 22 episodes, and exclusive bonus features. The show centers around Agent Phil Coulson and his assembled team after the battle of New York, that was the main plot of the blockbuster film, "The Avengers."
