Sheboygan's 3 Sheeps Brewing Co. is celebrating its 10th birthday with party. And it has plenty of reason to cheer, being one of the state's fastest growing and most respected breweries.

The free party takes place Saturday, May 14, from 11 a.m. until 10 p.m. in the taproom at 1837 North Ave.

There will be food trucks, live music all day and, of course, featured beers:

  • Once More Around The Sun: A Double Bourbon Barrel-aged Imperial Stout. The second barrels were 12-year Elijah Craig barrels. Limit one. $25
  • Double Digits: Bourbon Barrel-aged Imperial Stout with Ugandan Vanilla and Cocoa Nibs from Ghana. Limit 12. $20
  • To The Wind: Triple IPA brewed with Trident, Enigma and Talus hops

The first two beers are only available via pre-order to be picked up in-person or by proxy at the anniversary celebration. Unclaimed bottles will be released for sale to the general public beginning at 4 p.m. during the party.

There will be timed tappings of specialty and vintage beers all day and attendees will get an exclusive shot at buying vintage beers, including The Wolf variants, Paid Time Off and Uber Joe, and others.

“Ten years in we are both humbled and ecstatic to remain one of the fastest growing breweries in the state,” said Grant Pauly, founder and brewmaster of 3 Sheeps Brewing Co., in a statement.

“I don't think I ever would have let myself think that we could be here in the way that we are. The craft beer scene in Wisconsin was so different 10 years ago, and it’s been great to be a part of that change.”

Preparing for future growth, 3 Sheeps is expanding its canning line, adding more automation and installing its first semi-automatic keg washer and filler.

“We can't wait to look back in another 10 years and see how our industry has changed and evolved," says Pauly, "and what part we got to play in it.”
