OnMilwaukee announced in 2015 that gaming pub and restaurant 42 Ale House was opening and now, sadly, we report that it is closing.

According to a Facebook post today, 42 Ale House, 3807 S. Packard Ave. in St. Francis, will close for good by the end of the month when its lease ends. The official last day has not been announced and is dependent on when they run out of stock.

Oak & Shield is now Milwaukee's only remaining "geek" bar.
