It’s as important as ever to support the amazing collection of local restaurants that we have in our beautiful city. And there’s no better way to do so than committing to patronize them throughout the year. To guide you on your journey, I’ve composed a list of 52 amazing restaurants. Try just one of these every week and you’ll have visited them all by the end of 2024.  View the full list OR download an abbreviated printable PDF file for your fridge or wallet.

A trip to Cedarburg is always a pleasure and, if you dine when you visit, there are few spots better than Brandywine to enjoy memorable, well-executed fare inside charming, restored historic digs.

Food lovers will revel in little details like delicious focaccia (made fresh daily) served with ever-changing accompaniments; to hand-filled mezzaluna pasta that’s as gorgeous on the plate as it is delicious. Ingredients are all given tantamount respect, resulting in a mid-sized menu that showcases both the talent in the kitchen and the best of the season.

Currently, you can indulge in grilled green beans dressed up with cherry tomatoes, tonnato sauce, shallots, herb bread crumbs and parmesan; housemade sweet corn agnolotti with smoked pork belly, cherry tomatoes, shishito peppers and bell pepper jus; and grilled swordfish with poached lobster and saffron broth, chickpeas, piquillo pepper rouille & salsa verde.  If you're very lucky, you might even stop in and find a special made with the restaurant's namesake heirloom tomato, the Brandywine.

Want to step it up a notch?
Brandywine has added a new way to experience Chef Andrew Wilson's seasonal fare: chef's table experiences at The Apartment.  Located directly above the restaurant, The Apartment offers guests the opportunity to experience intimate 14-guest communal dinners featuring four chef-drive courses for $79 per person (wine pairings for +$40).

Dinners take place most Friday evenings and – as you might imagine – they sell out quickly. However, you can join the waiting list for dates through the end of September. You can also watch Brandywine's social feeds on Facebook and Instagram to see when additional dates open up for reservations.
