The SURG Restaurant Group will close Charro, 729 N. Milwaukee St., after service Saturday, March 24.

Charro's former second location at 17800 W. Bluemound Rd., in Brookfield, will soon be home to the group's latest venture, however.

The yet-unnamed restaurant will feature a menu of American cuisine designed by company executive chef Aaron Patin. Dishes will also have ingredients sourced from the group’s Hidden Creek Farm in Waupaca County.

SURG plans to give the restaurant a rustic theme, with a barn front decorating one of its walls. Other highlights include a sports-themed bar area and a wood fired grill in the kitchen.
