Two former Milwaukeeans that have left the fresh waters of Lake Michigan for the urban jungle that is New York City are emcees SigNif and Adebisi, and by all accounts – as far as we know – they are doing alright on their path to achieve some level of success.

Whether or not that is actually true isn't really what I'm looking to debate here. Rather, I want to highlight their constant stream of content and the fact that moving away from the Ill Mil hasn't made their art suffer. In the case of Adebisi, it seems to have allowed him to get more progressive with his musical output.

To continue supporting her project with Gee Wiz, "SigNificant Wizdom," Nif has released a music video for their track "S.I.G.M.A.T.A.," which is directed by Darren Cole.

The video itself is slightly corny, but SigNif is undoubtedly one of the top female emcees with a Milwaukee pedigree.

While preparing for the release of the second edition of his "Blaxploitation" mixtape series, Adebisi has released a new track called "Ain't Got" which features Emcee Jermaine and was produced by Noc Beats.

After much consideration, I have to say that this is possibly the best song Adebisi has made to date.

It was featured on DJBooth.net and you can stream it and download it for free via this link.
