Last week Fresh Cut Collective frontman Kiran Vee released a beat tape called "A Tribute to Roy Ayers" under the name Bellse Soneek.

Roy Ayers is an artist that has been heavily sampled by producers for decades now and his work continues to be a cornerstone in the sound of traditional hip-hop, next to Parliament, Funkadelic, James Brown and many others.

The seven-track project is very pleasing to the ear and worth a stream.

You can stream "A Tribute to Roy Ayers" and download it for free through Fresh Cut Collective's Bandcamp page.
