When one of the most noteworthy hip-hop producers in Wisconsin hooks up with a Milwaukee rapper that exploded onto the scene with a simplistic club hit, you might expect the collaboration to yield another banger for the clubs.

However, this isn't the case when Madison's DJ Pain 1 and Milwaukee's Ray Nitti team up for Nitti's latest, a track called "Feel Like I Made It."

The beat is far more laid back and soulful than a club anthem, and Nitti's lyrics gloss over his level of notoriety that he's tried to maintain since the release of "Bow."

Whether or not Ray Nitti will ever be able to capture lightning in a bottle a second time is yet to be seen, but teaming up with DJ Pain 1 can't – and won't – hurt his chase.
