Here are a few new videos for you to check out.

The first is by a group that is performing at the third Hip-Hop Hates event, Hip-Hop Hates HIV/AIDS, which will be held on Sept. 23 at the Cactus Club. More information about that event is on the horizon.

Streetz –n– Young Deuces have been steadily working on music over the last several years, but one area that they've been lacking in has been visuals to go with the tunes.

Recently they released a video for their new track "I'm Ill," a standard braggadocio song that serves as a good single-style record.

The second video is by local DJ/photographer/videographer Damon "Jank One" Joy.

I did a post about the A Tribe Called Quest documentary coming to Milwaukee not too long ago, and Jank took the time to get people's reactions to the film at the Milwaukee premiere.

Born in Milwaukee and raised in the Milwaukee suburb of Brown Deer, Concordia University Wisconsin alumnus Poppe has spent the majority of his life in or around the city and county of Milwaukee.

As an advocate of Milwaukee's hip-hop community Poppe began popular local music blog Milwaukee UP in March 2010. Check out the archived entries here.

Though heavy on the hip-hop, Poppe writes about other genres of music and occasionally about food, culture or sports, and is always ready to show his pride in Milwaukee and Wisconsin.
