The blessed weirdos who brought you "Tim and Eric Awesome Show, Great Job!", "Rick and Morty," "Robot Chicken" and more will bring their signature surreal style to Milwaukee this summer for Adult Swim on the Green.

Hosted at Veterans Park on Tuesday, June 26, Adult Swim on the Green brings together all of the hallucinatory hilarity of the late night Cartoon Network mainstay without the screen to protect you.

That includes games hosted by comedian Zack Fox (not that Milwaukee audiences have ever asked permission before, but heckling will be tolerated) as well as prizes, a beer and wine garden, local vendors, exclusive merchandise and – of course – watching some Adult Swim content, mainly a special promo screening of "Things You May Have Never Seen" showcasing unseen pilots, unaired episodes, specials, favorites and what's coming down the pipe from the bizarre late night programming block.

The 18-plus event is technically free, but you must buy a $10 concession voucher (plus a $6 fee) good for a free popcorn and small soda in order to enter. For more information on buying tickets or the event itself, visit Adult Swim on the Green's website

As much as it is a gigantic cliché to say that one has always had a passion for film, Matt Mueller has always had a passion for film. Whether it was bringing in the latest movie reviews for his first grade show-and-tell or writing film reviews for the St. Norbert College Times as a high school student, Matt is way too obsessed with movies for his own good.

When he's not writing about the latest blockbuster or talking much too glowingly about "Piranha 3D," Matt can probably be found watching literally any sport (minus cricket) or working at - get this - a local movie theater. Or watching a movie. Yeah, he's probably watching a movie.
