More then 700 students will have the opportunity to learn about agriculture when Wisconsin State Fair Park holds the first-ever Ag Discovery Day. The free educational session is set for Tuesday, May 2.
Through 22 hands-on agriculture stations, students will learn about sustainability, animal care, Wisconsin commodities like maple syrup and more. They will also learn about and see animals like cows, chicks, lambs and goats.
Most importantly, the mission of the day is to educate the next generation about agriculture while making it fun and accessible.
