The long wait will soon be over for the opening of Amilinda at 315 E. Wisconsin Ave. According to co-owner Orry Leon, the restaurant is planning on a July 18 opening.

The restaurant, owned by Orry and Chef Gregory Leon, was acquired last January and has undergone numerous renovations, including a revamp of the kitchen as well as multiple cosmetic changes (including bright red chairs!) which make the most of the 1,800 square foot space.

Amilinda will feature a variety of seasonal dishes influenced by the flavors of Spain, Portugal and the southern U.S.

Hours for the restaurant will be Tuesday through Thursday 5-10 p.m. and Friday and Saturday from 5 to 11 p.m.
