Anodyne Coffee has closed its location at the Mequon Public Market, 6300 W. Mequon Rd., with final service on Feb. 14.
Anodyne owner Matthew McClutchy notes that decreased foot traffic due to the pandemic put strains on the business.
"We hung in as long as we could," says McClutchy, noting that they felt it was best to consolidate their efforts at this time "It is a great space though, and someone is going to do very well there post-COVID."
Anodyne Coffee Roasters in Bay View, Wauwatosa, at the Milwaukee Public Market and in Walker’s Point will remain open.
Current Mequon Public Market vendors include Café Corazón (Mexican), Falafel Guys (Middle Eastern), Happy Dough Lucky (mini doughnuts), La Terre Floral and Gift, Little Tuna (sushi), Pizza Man, Purple Door Ice Cream and Santorini Grill (Greek).
For those looking for coffee at the market, Santorini Grill will be serving Illy coffee and coffee cake beginning at 8 a.m. daily.
