I could make this request privately, I guess.  A simple call or email to the owners Dan Sidner and Joseph Muench would suffice.  But, something tells me that many of you fine readers in the community also share this desire: a Blue’s Egg for Downtown Milwaukee.

I love Blue's Egg.  How can’t you?  It’s everything you want in a restaurant, and more.  But some days, it’s just a bit too far away.  So, selfishly, how about Downtown, Third Ward or even the East Side or Shorewood?  The former Barclay Cafe and Gallery space is still vacant.  Just a thought.

I’m no restaurant expert, but I know a good place when I experience one and I’m certain that a second and even a third Blue’s Egg could also shine.  You with me?
