In the mood for something different? Some down & dirty comfort food to get you through tax season?
Crafty Cow has thrown all caution aside and put a creative spin on five fast food favorites, which are being featured as specials on the menus at all three Crafty locations (Milwaukee, Oconomowoc and Wauwatosa) throughout the month of April.
Two of the dishes fall into the "Munchies" category and include the Taco Bell Cheese Curds Bell Grande, a platter of fried cheese curds topped with cheese sauce, ground beef, tomato and cilantro lime crema ($17.50).
Or you can opt for Animal Style Nachos featuring potato chips, ground beef, lettuce, tomato, pickles, caramelized onions and a special house sauce ($15.50).
On the sandwich side, they've created the Panda Express Orange Chicken Burrito, a flour tortilla filled with orange chicken, kimchi fried rice, carrots and cilantro lime crema ($15).
Or maybe you'd prefer to go full-on Wisconsin cheesy with their Arby's Triple Cheddar & Roast Beef Burger featuring a beef patty topped with cheddar cheese, white cheddar cheese and battered onions and served in house cheese sauce ($18).
There's also the option of the Chicken Fried McRib showcasing country ribs battered in chicken-style breading with Kansas City style BBQ sauce, pickles and onions on a cornbread bun ($17.25).
All Fast Food items are available during regular operating hours now through April 30.
