This summer, Newaukee and Discover Wauwatosa will team up to host ART 64, a live painting tournament with a $20,000 grand prize.
Sixty-four artists from across the country will compete in Art 64, which takes place Friday, June 3 and Saturday, June 4 in the Village of Wauwatosa. The event will be open to the public.
Art 64 is an "interactive performance painting bracket-style tournament." Artists will be paired to go head-to-head and given two hours to create a work of art on a pre-determined theme.
There will be four rounds of painting over the course of the two days and the audience will decide who takes home the prize money.
