My friend Renee is a painter -- she does regular wall painting as well as faux finishes and decorative designs -- and she just got back from Los Angeles, where she worked on a painting job in the former home of Ashton Kutcher and Demi Moore.

Renee was hired by Los Angeles-based business SJM Fine Art and Decorative Painting to assist with an eight-day job.

Kutcher, of course, is best known for playing Michael Kelso on “That ‘70s Show” and for being married to Moore. The couple -- along with Moore’s children -- moved to a new house a while back, and are in the process of updating their former Beverly Hills home before putting it on the market.

Renee did not get to meet Kutcher or Moore while she applied a wall treatment and faux finish along with a small team of painters. Instead, she worked with Kutcher’s father, who is managing the sale of the estate.

Renee said the only sign of the famous couple was a framed photo of Moore holding a Chihuahua that was left behind in the couple’s former bedroom.

But her most humorous comment -- and arguably most ridiculous -- was centered around using Kutcher's can.

“I sat where Ashton crapped,” she said. “And before him, Vidal Sassoon lived in the house, so he crapped there, too.”
