I love Chicago, I really do. It's a vibrant city and one of the world's best. It's also incredibly important to Milwaukee and Southeastern Wisconsin.

But, Chicagoans have had a bad day and tough week. Today,  Democratic Gov. Rod Blagojevich and his chief of staff, John Harris, were arrested by FBI agents on federal corruption charges.

Yesterday, the Tribune Company filed for bankruptcy protection and Chicago Bulls guard (and possible NBA rookie of the year) Derrick Rose accidentally sliced open his left forearm with a knife he was using to cut an apple.

The sun, though, will rise tomorrow and many media are reporting that the Cubs are close to acquiring Jake Peavy from the Padres. So, maybe all's not lost in the Windy City.
