If you couldn't make it out to Madison last year for a football, basketball or hockey game, fear not ... Bucky Badger is coming to you this summer.
"Badger Day" allows Wisconsin fans across the state to enjoy a casual tailgate setting and interact one-on-one with Director of Athletics Barry Alvarez, Bret Bielema, Bo Ryan, Lisa Stone, Mike Eaves, Mark Johnson and other Badger coaches. The "Voice of the Badgers," Matt Lepay and the biggest Badger of them all, Bucky will also be in attendance.
The event stops in Milwaukee on June 2, when the UW Athletic Department teams up with the Milwaukee Brewers at Miller Park from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. Alvarez and the Badger coaches take part in pre-game first pitch ceremonies before the Brewers face the Arizona Diamondbacks.
In a special promotion available exclusively to Badger Day-Milwaukee attendees, half-price tickets to that evening's Brewers game are available.
Admission tickets can be purchased by calling 800-GO-BADGERS. Tickets are $25 per person for individuals age 13 and older. Kids age 12 and under are free, but a ticket will be required for admission to the event. Food and beverages are included in the price of the ticket.
