Cheer on your favorite bartender while they compete in four events, including the Pabst can stack, timed drink order, karaoke and the cocktail contest. Special guests include 102.1's Kramp and Adler.

The event is free and features drink specials like $3 Dr. Fireball and Hornitos cocktails, $4 Absolut, Malibu, OR-G, Jim Beam and Red Stag Cocktails, $2 Pabst Tall Boys and free samples of Party Armor.

Plus, 2Cents and OnMilwaukee.com teamed up create a special Bar Month printed edition, which will be available at the event.

Here's a quick Q & A with bartender Kym Hayes of The Hotel Foster:

OnMilwaukee.com: How long have you been tending bar?

Kym Hayes: One and a half years.

OMC: What's the most important tool behind the bar?

KH: I'd have to say a Jigger. I say this because only with correct measurements you can ensure you are re-creating drinks properly.

OMC: What's your favorite Milwaukee bar (other than the one where you work)?

KH: Foundation.

OMC: What's your favorite brunch spot?

KH: It's actually a toss-up between Corazon and Comet. I love them both for different reasons. Corazon, for when I want an authentic Mexican brunch like Migas, or empanadas. Comet because it's all-around amazing (not to mention the tofu scramble is off the hook).

OMC: Have you served anyone famous?

KH: (Latrell) Sprewell.

OMC: Did he tip well?

KH: Average.

OMC: What drink are you making for Bartender Olympics?

KH: Misirlou (named after a Dick Dale song) - surf rock and a rum cocktail.

Misirlou
2 ounces Malibu black
3 ounces pineapple
1 ounce gran Marnier
.25 ounce amaretto
3 dashes angostura bitters
Float .5 oz grenadine
Shake well serve in tall cocktail
