The last time prominent businessman and star of CNBC's "The Profit" Marcus Lemonis came to Milwaukee for a business venture, well, let's just say it went poorly.

Thankfully, the experience didn't sour the celebrity business mogul – and proud Marquette University alumni – because, as first reported by the Milwaukee Business Journal, the Lemonis-backed pet store chain Bentley's Pet Stuff will open six locations in Milwaukee this weekend.

According to the Biz Journal's Melanie Lawder, the half-dozen new Bentley's Pet Stuff locations opening this weekend will be:

  • 2532 E. Oklahoma Ave. in Milwaukee
  • 2910 Golf Rd. in Delafield
  • 5658 Washington Ave. in Racine
  • N95 W18397 County Line Rd. in Menomonee Falls
  • 8663 N. Port Washington Rd. in Fox Point
  • 3701 S. Moorland Rd. in New Berlin

In addition, an existing location at 4604 N. Wilson Dr. will relocate to the Mosaic Building in Shorewood on Oakland Ave., in February or March of 2017.

The Biz Journal report notes that this weekend's deluge of openings ties in with the Illinois-based chain's February-announced goal of opening 10 Milwaukee-area stores within the next 12 months.

As much as it is a gigantic cliché to say that one has always had a passion for film, Matt Mueller has always had a passion for film. Whether it was bringing in the latest movie reviews for his first grade show-and-tell or writing film reviews for the St. Norbert College Times as a high school student, Matt is way too obsessed with movies for his own good.

When he's not writing about the latest blockbuster or talking much too glowingly about "Piranha 3D," Matt can probably be found watching literally any sport (minus cricket) or working at - get this - a local movie theater. Or watching a movie. Yeah, he's probably watching a movie.
