When last year Blu, atop the The Pfister Hotel, was named bar with the best view in town, it had unseated perennial favorite Roots. This time around, you, the readers of OnMilwaukee.com have given Blu a repeat victory.
Roots – which also offers a one of a kind view of the city – came in second both this year and last.
We agree that Blu is pretty awesome. If the great martinis, comfy chairs, live jazz and free cashews aren't good enough on their own – and they are – Blu offers a panoramic view of the eastern end of Downtown and out toward Lake Michigan and the southeast.
Roughly half of you also know that the ladies' room at Blu offers a similarly amazing view to the west.
For our editors' pick this year, we selected newcomer 106seeboth, in Walker's Point – or the Fifth Ward, depending on your preference – for its views of the Milwaukee River and the Downtown skyline.
