The votes are in, and the winners have been selected for OnMilwaukee's Best Dining 2010. The results of this readers' poll, including an editors' pick, are available in this series of articles that run all October long during Dining Month on OnMilwaukee.com.
It was the easy winner in this competition, although Barnacle Bud's isn't easy to get to. In fact, if you don't know where you're going, you'll think you're not even on a public street as you work your way to 1955 S. Hilbert St.
That's why Barnacle Bud's Web site allows visitors to click on a "Where the Hell Are You?" button.
Once you get there, you'll find a relaxed hideway that looks more Key West than Brew City, an oyster bar with a trademark Bloody Mary. Of course, there's a full menu of sandwiches and entrees.
With the un-October warmth of the last few weeks, it's best to enjoy one of the most comfortable outdoor eating areas in town while you can.
