With its immigrant heritage, it should come as no surprise that Milwaukee is home to a large number of Irish bars.

There are many and each of them has its own subtle, unique qualities. In the end, though, OnMilwaukee.com readers made their choice decisively in again picking County Clare, 1234 N. Astor St., as Milwaukee's best Irish Bar.

County Clare has won the title nearly every year we've done the polling.

It's traditional feel, enhanced with occasional, live Celtic music, lets customers escape to the Emerald Isle, if only for a few hours for a pint of Guinness.
