The votes are in and the winners have been selected for OnMilwaukee's Best: Bars & Clubs, 2009. The results of this readers' poll, including an editors' pick, are available in this series of articles that run all month long in the Bars and Clubs section of OnMilwaukee.com.
If one Irish bar is good, then three must be better, right? That's the thinking of the readers of OnMilwaukee.com, who voted Trinity Three Irish Pubs as Milwaukee's best new bar for 2009.
The triumvirate of connected bars, 125 E. Juneau Ave., replaced the old Brew City BBQ. Between Foy, Gallagher, Duffy and the outside patio, you can cover all your Gaelic bases in one sitting.
The middle bar, Gallagher, does a nice job with live music, while the back bar is more intimate and cozy. The big front bar is Trinity's main dining area with eclectic apps like Irish nachos and a good Sunday brunch.
For a new bar, Trinity has a great, classic look. It's a little different than its Water Street neighbors and worth a stop for a pint on your Downtown Irish pub crawl.
