For the fifth straight year, October is Dining Month on OnMilwaukee.com, presented by Concordia University. All month, we're stuffed with restaurant reviews, delectable features, chef profiles and unique articles on everything food, as well as the winners of our "Best of Dining 2011."

Your votes are in, Milwaukee, and you have selected the winners of OnMilwaukee's Best Dining 2011. We're announcing the results of this readers' poll, including our editors' pick, in a series of articles that run all October long during Dining Month on OnMilwaukee.com.

The fifth of the Lowlands Group's European-style cafes in the Milwaukee area, Cafe Benelux has taken off since opening its doors in June.

A big part of Benelux's success is due to its beautiful rooftop patio. The second-story open-air dining space offers a great view from atop the former Good Harvest Market space, something diners are more than willing to take advantage of during the warmer summer months.

The restaurant still has plenty to offer inside, too. Like the group's other restaurants, Cafe Benelux specializes in European fare, but Benelux also serves up half-pound burgers, mussels and the sweet and savory pannenkoeken, a large thin pancake that is standard fare in The Netherlands.

Here at OnMilwaukee.com, our attention has been captured by another Third Ward dining spot with a view. Ryan Braun's Graffito offers from-scratch Italian dining, a great spot overlooking the river and even a little celebrity spotting if you're lucky.
