For the second year in a row, Balzac, 1716 N. Arlington Pl., was named by OnMilwaukee.com readers and the place with the city's best wine list. That's certainly due to its vast, five-page wine list offering selections from the new world and the old.
Wine is served in stemless Riedel crystal, an indication that someone in the joint knows how to treat wine, and the menu offers low-priced "tastes" in case you can't make up your mind.
The bar also offers a wide range of bottled beers, draughts and martinis.
