For a truly full-throttle long weekend, wheel over to the BikerFest Block Party, hosted this year in Deer District on Saturday, May 25.

While recent renditions of the motorcycle meet-up have called the Fondy Farmer's Market home, this year's BikerFest Block Party will take place in the plaza right outside Fiserv Forum. Hosted from noon until 9 p.m. on Saturday, the free and family-friendly biker jamboree will feature stunt performances from Twinstunts, bike races and showcases courtesy of Flat Out Friday and Mama Tried, live music and – of course – plenty of motorcycles in exhibits, on display, in action with simulations and more.

Amongst all of the revving and roaring, the BikerFest Block Party aims to showcase biker culture at its most diverse, inclusive and communal.

"We are proud to celebrate five incredible years of BikerFest Block Party with our community," said BikerFest Mke founder Venisha Simpson, in a release. "This event has always been about more than just motorcycles; it's about bringing people together, fostering connections and celebrating the rich tapestry of culture and diversity that makes Milwaukee such a special place. We're incredibly grateful to Deer District BID 53 for its support in making this milestone celebration possible."

As much as it is a gigantic cliché to say that one has always had a passion for film, Matt Mueller has always had a passion for film. Whether it was bringing in the latest movie reviews for his first grade show-and-tell or writing film reviews for the St. Norbert College Times as a high school student, Matt is way too obsessed with movies for his own good.

When he's not writing about the latest blockbuster or talking much too glowingly about "Piranha 3D," Matt can probably be found watching literally any sport (minus cricket) or working at - get this - a local movie theater. Or watching a movie. Yeah, he's probably watching a movie.
