There are a few things in this world that I find positively disgusting: child porn, crimes against children, people who have a holier than thou way of life.

And right up high on that list is men who think that their powerful positions are a passport to aggressively pursue women sexually.

Hello Bill Kramer.

Let me get this out of the way first. Kramer, a Republican legislator from Waukesha County who was the Assembly Majority Leader, is innocent until proven guilty.

There. That is out of the way.

It’s hard to keep track of how many different charges have been filed against Kramer. There’s the thing in Washington, D.C. where he’s accused of groping one woman and tweeting about his sexual prowess to another.

Then we’ve got the case of him allegedly in a car with a woman after a political event in Muskego. Reports from the police complaint are enough to make you throw up.

The best coverage of this guy has been in Madison newspapers.

According to the complaint, Kramer asked the alleged victim for a ride home. Once in the car, he allegedly pushed her against a door, kissed her with tongue and grabbed her breasts under her shirt.

According to a report, Muskego Police Det. Stephen Westphal called Kramer on March 19 to ask him to come in to discuss these incidents. Westphal said Kramer told him he couldn’t do that because he was "in therapy for these issues."

According to Westphal’s report, in a phone call, Kramer initially said he didn’t recall the incident but alleged that the victim had "stuck her tongue down my throat…"

Later, Westphal wrote, Kramer told him that "I am sure I kissed her goodnight" and may have made a pass at her but gave various answers when asked if he had touched her breasts.

Again, Kramer was asked if he touched her breast and he said, "I am sure I put my hands somewhere, I do not know where."

Asked the same question again, he said, "I don't remember doing that and I am saying it did not happen," then he said the woman "has very nice doctor enhanced breasts. I am not a big fan of those. I like the real ones."

Asked if the woman tried to dissuade him from making advances, he said, "I am sure she said something about it not going any further. That is why I went home. I am sure that happened, but I don't remember it. I have been turned down a lot."

I’m sure Kramer is going through some kind of therapy for some kind of sexual predilection. But this kind of thing isn’t about sex at all.

It’s about the powerful against the powerless. It’s about men who think they have a right to certain women.

If convicted of the two counts of sexual assault against him, Kramer could be sentenced to 40 years on each count.

It’s just not enough.
