Brookfield will celebrate its 50th birthday with a party at the Civic Plaza, 2000 N. Calhoun Road, at 5:30 p.m., Wednesday, Aug. 11.

Festivities will include an historical exhibit, live music, a birthday cake, refreshments and fireworks. Happy birthday Brookfield!
