After a week and a half of Summerfest and State Fair concert announcements, it seems the BMO Harris Bradley Center wanted to get in on the fun. And they did so in fine fashion, announcing the Milwaukee return of The Black Keys.
This morning, the bluesy Akron rockers announced their North American tour dates, including a stop at the BMO Harris Bradley Center with special guests Cage the Elephant on Tuesday, Sept. 9.
Tickets for the show go out on sale to the general public Friday, May 16, at 10 a.m. However, early pre-sale tickets will be available on Tuesday, May 13, at 10 a.m. for fans pre-ordering the band's new album on its website.
The duo of Patrick Carney and Dan Auerbach previously performed at the arena back in 2012 while touring in support of their last album, 2011's "El Camino." The Black Keys will have a new record, "Turn Blue," coming out next Tuesday, this time around, so fans can likely expect a heavy dose of that album – including their current hit single "Fever" – plus some hit selections from across their seven previous records. Fingers crossed for another appearance from the "Everlasting Light" giant disco ball.
Cage the Elephant also opened the show when the Black Keys headlined Summerfest in 2011.
