Boo Boo's Sandwich Shop has closed in its location at 405 S. 2nd St. However, it sounds like there might be plans in the works for the local sandwich joint, which made a name for itself with sandwiches like the Milly Philly, an homage to the former Philly Way, and their K Jon Chicken, which was magically infused with Mediterranean deliciousness.
Boo Boo's announced Sunday evening on Facebook that they would be closing, but that they are also in search of a new location.

We are sad to announce that we are closing our doors until we find a new location. We love and appreciate every single one of you. We wouldn't be who we are without every single one of you. Thank you all for being you and loving us.
We will post our new location as soon as it is found. We will miss you all. It's not good bye... It's we will see you later."
The shop, which opened up in the former Philly Way location in 2017, is owned by Richard Regner, who also operated Soup Bros., the adjoining soup business which closed in August. However, the location has been managed by longtime Soup Bros. employee, David Hernandez, since its inception.
