The Milwaukee Public Market announced today the addition of Brew City Brand Apparel, a family-owned "Milwaukee-gear" company who will take over a portion of the eastern end cap space in between Thief Wine Shop & Bar and West Allis Cheese & Sausage.

"The Market is a Downtown destination, representing all things Milwaukee," said market spokesperson, Paul Schwartz. "Brew City represents the perfect fit for our mission of high quality, specialty Milwaukee products."

Brew City Brand Apparel, established in 1986, is known for their dynamic hometown apparel and for their creative ways of promoting Milwaukee.  They are commemorating their 25th year by opening an exclusive gift boutique in the Milwaukee Public Market.

"We love promoting Milwaukee using creative designs, and there is no better reason to create products than to be retailing in the heart of the Historic Third Ward," said co-owner Frank Keppler. "The great business plan that the directors of the Public Market have been executing inspired us to request to become a part of their family."

"We are thrilled about this opportunity," said co-owner George Keppler.  "The Market brings a great customer base to Downtown Milwaukee, and it's exciting to have our apparel in front of them."  Brew City's initial product plans will be completely overhauled at the Market, and will be specific to that location, said Keppler.

Brew City, which also operates a location at the Shops of Grand Avenue Mall, will spend much of October in design, planning and light build-out stages for the Market location.

All of the Brew City products sold at the market will be designed specifically for the Milwaukee Public Market space.
