After several tragic baseball-less days, fans of the first-place Brewers are eagerly looking ahead to the second half of the season and to hopefully another postseason trip (preferably a longer one than last year, too). But for fans who REALLY want to look ahead, the team today announced its schedule for the 2025 regular season.

Once again, the Brewers season will begin in the Big Apple – just the other team this time, as the Crew will throw out the first pitch of 2025 against Aaron Judge and the New York Yankees on Friday, March 27. After that three-game weekend series, they'll make their home debut on Monday, March 31 with a three-game spat against the Kansas City Royals, followed by a four-game series against the Cincinnati Reds. As for other notable series on the 2025 slate, brace for boos at AmFam Field on May 2-4 and July 28-30, as that's when Craig Counsell and the Chicago Cubs will make their annual Milwaukee visits.

Here's the rest of the 2025 Brewers schedule, with specific times to be announced at a later date:

That's next year, though. As for this current season, despite scuffling a bit into the All-Star Break, the Brewers are still in first place in the National League Central with a 55-42 record – the most wins they've had at the break since 2018 – and a 4.5-game lead over the St. Louis Cardinals. They'll hope to keep building on that lead – and build their way to another playoff run – starting Saturday night in Minnesota.

As much as it is a gigantic cliché to say that one has always had a passion for film, Matt Mueller has always had a passion for film. Whether it was bringing in the latest movie reviews for his first grade show-and-tell or writing film reviews for the St. Norbert College Times as a high school student, Matt is way too obsessed with movies for his own good.

When he's not writing about the latest blockbuster or talking much too glowingly about "Piranha 3D," Matt can probably be found watching literally any sport (minus cricket) or working at - get this - a local movie theater. Or watching a movie. Yeah, he's probably watching a movie.
