The Brewers may be in St. Louis for this crucial three-game series against the pesky Cardinals, but there's no reason fans can't make it feel like a home game. That's why the Brewers are hosting a special watch party for Wednesday night's critical game.
The 21-and-over party will begin at 5 p.m. at Flannery's, 425 E. Wells St., with the pregame starting at 5:30 p.m. and first pitch hitting at 6:10 p.m. Fox Sports Wisconsin broadcaster Craig Coshun will serve as the host of the evening, anchoring live shots throughout the game telecast, while Bernie Brewer and the Racing Sausages entertain the crowd in between innings. The festivities will also include drink specials, free T-shirts, giveaways, trivia and more.
And in case that's not enough, the first 100 fans to arrive at the watch party will receive two tickets to the final game of the season at Miller Park on Sunday against the Detroit Tigers.
For more information on the watch party, visit the Brewers website. And remember: The Crew's magic number (aka the combined number of Brewers wins and losses by the teams closely trailing behind needed to clinch a spot in the playoffs) is four, so Wednesday night should be a big game. So represent the Crew so we can brew up a playoff birth!
As much as it is a gigantic cliché to say that one has always had a passion for film, Matt Mueller has always had a passion for film. Whether it was bringing in the latest movie reviews for his first grade show-and-tell or writing film reviews for the St. Norbert College Times as a high school student, Matt is way too obsessed with movies for his own good.
When he's not writing about the latest blockbuster or talking much too glowingly about "Piranha 3D," Matt can probably be found watching literally any sport (minus cricket) or working at - get this - a local movie theater. Or watching a movie. Yeah, he's probably watching a movie.
