Teen superstar Britney Spears blew into Milwaukee for a one-night show Tuesday, and though none of the crack staff at OnMilwaukee.com could make the concert, Art Director Mike Brenner's 12-year-old sister did. Here's a first, Milwaukee: a concert review written by Miss Spears' most loyal fan, Lauren Volberding. In her very eloquent words ...

As you probably already know, the Britney Spears concert occurred at the Bradley Center last night. I had the privilege to get tickets to this event.

I didn't think that I had very good tickets, but when I found my seat I grew very excited. O-Town was the opening act. Although most of the time they were facing the other direction, they gave a great performance. It was very entertaining and energizing and made the anticipation for Britney Spears more exciting. Their style of music was a perfect opening for the real star of the show.

Fantastic! Exciting! When Britney finally came out everyone found themselves singing along, dancing in the aisle and screaming even if they didn't want to. I found that she is much prettier in person than she is in posters and on T.V. and she is much shorter than I thought she would be. But Britney is so full of energy she comes across as the superstar that she is.

The costumes that Britney and her dancers had were outrageous. During one of her routines, the stage opened up and to my surprise she was right in front of me. I couldn't do anything but stare.

Overall, this concert was the most exciting one I have ever been to.
