Earlier this evening, Mike Brenner, the owner of Hotcakes Gallery who said he would close his gallery and move from Milwaukee if the “Bronze Fonz” statue is erected Downtown, sent out an e-mail saying he was interested in obtaining quotes to have a statue made of himself.

"I have been approached by a few local businesses that are interested in sponsoring a ‘Bronze Brenner’ statue. Does anybody have contact info for a foundry, so I can get quotes?” reads his e-mail that was sent to members of the Milwaukee Artist Resource Network (MARN) Yahoo group.
