After a lot of discussion, tons of planning and many months of construction, the Milwaukee Bucks have set a date for the grand opening of the new arena.

The striking building that is, for now, still called the Wisconsin Entertainment and Sports Center will officially open on Sunday, Aug. 26.

The grand opening event, details of which haven’t yet been announced, will include public tours of the arena, as well as the fourth annual Bucks Block Party.

Mark your calendars, Milwaukee, and while you wait, check out these photos of the arena, taken earlier this week when the building was "98 percent complete."
