Despite their best efforts, Giannis and the Milwaukee Bucks are officially in the postseason! And while the regular season didn't exactly go according to plan, it's a whole new season now – just ask the Bucks the year we won the NBA Finals as a three seed.
Right now, we don't know if and when we'll see Giannis back on the court, or what the Bucks will look like after stumbling significantly down the stretch – but at least we do know who they will meet on this first postseason step: the Indiana Pacers, an emerging new rival for Milwaukee after knocking the Bucks out of the In-Season Tournament and after being weird about giving Giannis the game ball after setting a record against them earlier this season.
It took a while, but now we also know when Milwaukee's latest quest for the NBA Finals and the Larry O'Brien Trophy will tip off – so, with no further ado, here's the schedule for the Bucks' first-round postseason series against Indiana:
- Game 1 – Sunday, April 21 at 6 p.m. in Milwaukee
- Game 2 – Tuesday, April 23 at 7:30 p.m. in Milwaukee
- Game 3 – Friday, April 26 at 4:30 p.m. in Indianapolis
- Game 4 –Sunday, April 28 at 6 p.m. in Indianapolis
- Game 5 (if necessary) – Tuesday, April 30 at TBD in Milwaukee
- Game 6 (if necessary) – Thursday, May 2 at TBD in Indianapolis
- Game 7 (if necessary) – Saturday, May 4 at TBD in Milwaukee
Tickets for the first-round home games at Fiserv Forum are still available, at the Bucks' website. And for those who don't get into the arena, the first game of the series will broadcast on TNT, while Game 2 will air on NBA TV – shockingly the only NBA TV broadcast considering the small markets and Giannis-sized hole in the matchup – and Game 3 can be found on ESPN. Game 4 will then return to TNT, while the rest of the series' broadcasts, if necessary, have yet to be determined. As for the hometown calls, Bally Sports Wisconsin will broadcast all the first round games as well.
The NBA will announce more dates, times and additional details on the rest of the playoff games as the postseason marches forward.

As much as it is a gigantic cliché to say that one has always had a passion for film, Matt Mueller has always had a passion for film. Whether it was bringing in the latest movie reviews for his first grade show-and-tell or writing film reviews for the St. Norbert College Times as a high school student, Matt is way too obsessed with movies for his own good.
When he's not writing about the latest blockbuster or talking much too glowingly about "Piranha 3D," Matt can probably be found watching literally any sport (minus cricket) or working at - get this - a local movie theater. Or watching a movie. Yeah, he's probably watching a movie.
