The Bucks will be celebrating everything that makes our home city special at all Monday home games this season as part of Milwaukee Mondays with 88Nine Radio Milwaukee.

This year’s platform features a new community-focused slant as the Bucks will work to highlight the various Milwaukee neighborhoods that comprise the unique fabric of our community, along with the return of the popular Milwaukee Originals T-shirt line.

As part of this season’s Milwaukee Mondays platform, the Bucks will highlight a Milwaukee neighborhood at each Monday home game to share the positive things happening in our community. The Bucks have partnered with TRUE Skool and 371 Productions to give local youth an opportunity to share the stories of their neighborhoods through their urban art and video production expertise.

TRUE Skool provides the opportunity for youth to advance their knowledge in social justice, education and workforce development through a variety of programming. 371 Productions is an award-winning, Milwaukee-based media company that produces documentary films and other media projects, like the ongoing radio series about youth and gun violence, "Precious Lives."

In addition, the Bucks’ commitment to mentoring will be visible through "Mentoring Mondays." At each Milwaukee Monday home game, the Bucks will host approximately 250 youth and their mentors/youth leaders from a wide variety of mentoring organizations across the greater Milwaukee area.

One in three young people grow up without a mentor and the Bucks are committed to being a voice to help change that statistic. Mentoring strengthens our young people, our neighborhoods and our communities. At each game the Bucks will highlight mentoring organizations and encourage all fans to get involved in the life of a young person.

Now in its fourth season, the Milwaukee Originals T-shirt series will once again be a highlight of the Milwaukee Mondays platform, along with performances by local music acts before and during each Monday home game this season. Milwaukee Originals is an exclusive, limited-edition apparel series created by local Milwaukee T-shirt designers. Each designer has created a unique, high-quality Bucks shirt featuring the team’s branding coupled with the respective designer’s unique style.

Last year’s six designers – MilwaukeeHome, Sconnie Nation, Wiskullsin, Orchard Street Press, Too Much Metal and Word & Images – will all be back, along with a seventh design from Franklin-based Routine.

The seven Milwaukee Originals shirts along with music from these local artists will be featured at the following Milwaukee Monday games this season. The specific neighborhoods and mentoring organizations to be honored at each Milwaukee Monday game will be announced at a later date.
